Comments: As the main character's best friend and might-be love interest, I like how the way Yukari was portrayed. Whether she is being nice or giving the cold shoulder, her voice fits perfectly for Yukari's (tsundere) character.

Crossover lulz
FMA: She's as nice and emotional as Winry, definitely. I still cannot forget that it was because she couldn't bring herself to uh, shoot herself with the Evoker, Minato had to use it and awakens Orpheus in the process >D
DGM: With above example, she's kind of as useless as Miranda. But Yukari is definitely determined to help her comrades, and even coming to Minato's defence when Junpei was like blaming him for everything that happened.

Oh, and I really just wanted to comment on the announcement of the P3P aka Persona 3 Portable game which is due for release on 1st November for the PSP. It's basically just like the original P3 game, but improvements will be made, and you get to choose between playing Minato and a female MC.

Which makes me want a PSP. Or any other game console since I don't have any. D:

The female protagonist looks a bit too cheeful for P3, but then and again, maybe Minato's too emo. Or just because she's wearing a red-ish uniform like Aigis. Fem!Orpheus is just amusing. But Male!Elizabeth looks awesome.

I'm excited for the modifications to fem!MC's S-links though. That means that she can date Akihiko and uh...~~Stupei~~Junpei. Although others were like 'I WANNA BE LESBIAN WITH MITSURU' and stuff :/

Actually, the main question here is: Will we get a loli!Pharos and a fem!Ryouji? Because I totally want that to happen. It'll be too weird if Pharos and Ryouji were still male when MC's female. Also, I approve of a slightly perverted ~~Death~~ girl in the cast. ~~Which also means that there will be dude-hunting instead of babe-hunting in the beach arc.~~

LOL. I heard that there won't be so many changes. But I do really want a loli Pharos and a female Ryouji. 8D

And I see more of the Noah family now...the Exorcists are in deep trouble.

This post is not so long because I need to stalk notalk.bbs for the GFantasy chapters especially Retrace XXXX, so yeah.

Speculations: Maybe the 14th is going to drop by and say hi to Tyki. That would be a great plot development I'd really want this to happen and see Tyki's reaction too. >D

Lastly, damnit. 4th November's going to be a long time away. But it's better than nothing.

I just started reading Kobato and I think that it's quite good.

Really, it took me quite a lot of courage to read it. Since it's you know, by CLAMP. And Tsubasa made me lose a lot of faith in CLAMP due to its plot of fail, crack and crossovers of way too many series.

It has been a month since I wanted to read it, and I decided to finally start since everyone's talking about it. Oh, and I don't regret it since the plot is rather intriuging and hilarious.

Kobato's really like Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura in her personality and Ioryogi is as funny as Kero. I still spy some crossovers, especially from Chobits, but after Tsubasa, I won't complain at all.

Now my most favourite character is Fujimoto. If you cut off his tied hair and take off his glasses, he'd look totally like Syaoran. Which makes me really wonder whether Fujimoto x Kobato would become canon. But it's a nice speculation + I support this pairing too since I love Syaoran x Sakura too :D

And uh, I think it's a really good break from shounen manga especially after I finished the Persona 3 playthough I was reading previously. The ending there was so sad. In the end, both of my favourite characters are like goners. T_T

Persona 3 seiyus and crossover lulz (Part 1)

Persona 3 is epic win. And so are the seiyus. That's why I'm posting about this now.

Before even mentioning the whole fucking with your head thing (literally and figuratively), have a good look at the cast. Spoilers ahead too, in case I forget...

Lets start with Ishida Akira :D

Ishida Akira: Main Character aka Arisato Minato, Pharos and Mochizuki Ryouji
Roles outside P3: Zexion (Kingdom Hearts), Hiwatari Satoshi (DNAngel), Xerxes Break (Pandora Hearts), Kai Nanami (Sukisyo), Amakawa Tsukasa (Shugo Chara) and uh, Tom Riddle in the Japanese dub of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Comments:
Minato has no voice in the game at all because he's the silent protagonist. And at most it's just 'uh' and 'eh' with short phrases such as '大丈夫' in the drama CDs. Especially in She goes for a walk when more attention is given to Aigis. Commu Break has more of Minato's voice, only because he's having girl troubles with Fuuka, Yukari, Mitsuru and Aigis while being in deep trouble. >D But I still like Minato's voice even though he barely speaks.
As for Ryouji, he really sounds like the flirty idiot he is. It's just ironic that he's Death, really.
Pharos is just plain creepy. :/

Crossover lulz:
KH: I can see Zexion shooting himself too since he's as emo as Minato.
DNA: For Satoshi, it's the emo blue haired boy thing again. But what's more is that Krad is kind of like Ryouji. And uh, the Death thing suits him too. Then Ryouji is a part of Minato, like how Krad is a part of Satoshi. Plus Krad will look good with Ryouji's scarf :)
PH: I shall comment after Toriumi Kosuke...
HP: With part of Death sealed within Minato, it's just like how part of Voldemort's soul was sealed in Harry. Also, both Harry and Minato are the 'messiah' kind of character... The similarities are just too plain creepy.

Rant:
Damnit. I love the Ryouji x Minato pairing because it's selfcest is some way. Ryouji is flirty (which came from Minato's humanity?! I mean, how does Death do this?) and Minato is the quiet guy which make them complement each other well.
But yet it's so tragic at the same time because both Ryouji and Minato don't end up well at the end. If only Ryouji wasn't Death, they'd be BFFs like totally. Oh well, life is never going to be good if you're Death. Or Death's reincarnate for this matter.

EDIT: Just read the wiki article on Lotti's seiyu, Toyoguchi Megumi. I can't believe that she also voiced Winry Rockbell (Fullmetal Alchemist) and Miranda Lotto (D.Gray-man) too. Winry and Miranda are ranked among my most fave chars in FMA and DGM, but not Lotti in my fave chars list for PH.

I mean, one's a really nice although emotional automail mechanic for Edward Elric + best / girl friend of him, another's an Exorcist who keeps thinking that she's useless but is determined to help her comrades and has the power to manipulate time. And Lotti? She's a psychotic <s>bitch</s>girl with pink hair who is trying to find Glen Baskerville and acts under his orders.

Oh, just to make my point clear, I don't really like Lotti. I mean, Present!Lotti. I like Past!Lotti better (who pulls Jack's hair >D), but I don't like Present!Lotti because she just ticks me off. Just like how I don't like Past!Alice, but I like Present!Alice.

Don't ask me why. I do like Zwei, but find Lotti irritating. I think it's just because I have something against pink-haired girls. Including Lulu of Monochrome Factor, Euphemia from Code Geass and Anise from Barajou no Kiss. I'm sorry if anyone's offended... :/

Hello to new friends + PH extra episode stuff

Erm...the title says it. And Oz is using his host club powers and rose to welcome you because I'm too lazy to list your names :D

Yes, I purposely made the background have a pink to white gradient a la Ouran High Host Club because Oz just looks like a shota Tamaki in this pose and the rose. Hey, that rhymes!

Which proves more that he is actually Jack aka the real PH Tamaki because Oz is supposed to be Haruhi. *supports the Oz = Jack theory* On the host club powers, Oz must have definitely gotten them from Jack. Plus the natural sparkles too.

This is the proof:

In case you don't recognize him, it's Ono Daisuke from Lucky Star in which he voices himself during his guest appearance. We know full well he also voices Jack, and I can see very startling similarities between these 2 pictures.

Haven't watched episode 17 yet, but I know there's going to be Jack next episode. Maybe there's Jack!Oz too. On Jack and Oz, Oz is the Jack of diamonds in the playing cards that come with the DVD. ~~proves more of the Oz = Jack theory.~~ If Oz is the Jack, then who is Jack?

Ouran Chapter 73 gives me a bad feeling. Especially on whatever that's happening to Tamaki. Even though the Tamaki x Haruhi cover was damn cute. *shall not give spoilers*

Rawr. I can't believe that the Writer's Block remembered JK's bday but forgot that it was Harry Potter's bday. I mean, Harry's bday is damn crucial to every HP book like how Halloween is.

Anyway, I liked Chamber of Secrets best. There's a suspence, mystery and tension for me to keep on flipping the pages. Then there's also more on Voldemort, his connection to Harry. Oh, and the first Hocrux being destroyed too.

I also liked the involvement of 'Heir of Slytherin' thing which gave a even sinister feeling to the book. Harry had to face the rumours being spread about him while finding out who is the culprit, which is quite a lot for him. Lets not forget Ginny who was totally manipulated by Tom Riddle...

Also watched the sixth movie already. Personally I think it's good. As compared to the fifth movie, this was wonderful. The romance parts were win and the part when Hermione was whacking Harry's head when she was like: You're the Chosen One, aren't you? made me LOL so much. Harry just had to reply: Uh, yeah. The main highlight was Malfoy, who was looking so emo throughout because he was coerced to be a Death Eater.

But I didn't like the part on Dumbledore's death. It was done too weirdly, and I only cried because Malfoy was looking so pained as he couldn't bring himself to kill Dumbledore...

Hopefully, the DH movie won't be a flop, but I doubt it. The book already had a crack plot, and I'm not very positive for the movie. Shall wait and see though.

~~No HP icon, so I'm using Roderich aka Austria. After all, he has dark-coloured hair, and wears glasses. He does look Harry Potter-ish when I look at the icon now though...~~

Rust Blaster review :D

Thanks to the gfantasy_magcommunity, I got to know of another manga by the wonderful Toboso Yana aka the author of Kuroshitsuji, which is called Rustblaster. Too bad it only had only 1 volume / 6 chapters (like a certain Sugisaki Yukiru manga *cough* Rizelmine *cough*)

It's like a shounen version of Vampire Knight, actually. And it's like Soul Eater too. The plot is also on vampires and humans trying to coexist with evil ones trying to take over. In the 1000 Years Academy, the main character, a very unvampire-ish vampire, Aldred meets a human transfer student Kei by chance. But what they do not know is that the fate on the world now depends on the two of them...

You see, every vampire has a family weapon except for Aldred. When an evil vampire attacks the Gate that the school is protecting, Aldred tries to defend himself and everyone else to no avail. Nearing the brink of death, his only chance to survive was to suck Kei's blood. (which is prohibited since vampires are not allowed to suck human blood)

Aldred then gains a weapon - the Holy Spear - and manages to pwn that evil vampire. He thinks that he has finally got his family weapon, except that the Holy Spear reverts back into Kei's prone form. So begins the mission of Aldred and Kei to protect the world...

Actually. I was more attracted to manga because Kei really looked like Allen Walker from D.Gray-man. Especially his outfit resembles Allen's third uniform. But Rustblaster was serialised in 2006, so maybe Hoshino-sensei copied Toboso-sensei? :O

Idk. Then since Aldred's a vampire, he'd be Krory. LOL.

*sigh* DGM's still on hiatus. I wish it was back. And that Rustblaster didn't have such a cliffhanger ending or so little chapters.

Then and again, you can't have everything in the world. Like for example, there's still school tomorrow despite how I am reluctant for it.

As the title says, happy belated birthday to ~~Ameri~~Canada because I couldn't bear to ignore him and his birthday. Even though the icon here is of America. The Hetalia community here's alrd full of Canada Day posts, and I'm betting there will be more during the 4th of July. Also I bet there would be more England x America stuff than Canada x America then too.

LOL. Yeah, I recently went into the Hetalia fandom because everyone was talking about it and it spreads like a virus. In a good way though. History never looked this good. And anime has never been so funny and educational at the same time. Like in episode 23, I learnt about Liechtenstein (which is a handful to type and a mouthful to say) which I never heard of before. And I bet Germany was totally thinking otherwise about Italy's phone call. ~~He was prolly suspecting rape.~~

Liechtenstein reminds me of Echo from Pandora Hearts and she can totally be compared to Belarus too. Switzerland better watch his back before Liechtenstein does something. >D

On the seiyus, it's quite interesting to see Namikawa Daisuke aka N./S. Italy to have also done Fai from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles(both quite happy-go-lucky) , Paku Romi aka Switzerland is also Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist (both blonde), Onosaka Masaya aka France is Cerebus from Cardcaptor Sakura (ROFLMAO) and Takahashi Hiroki aka Japan is also Jounichi Katsuya from Yugioh (quite contrasting).

Pandora Hearts episode 13 review

Lousy animation as usual. The D.Gray-man animation was so much better but that's another anime.

That was, until Jack saved the episode with his awesome looks and his kira-ness. Or rather, Xebec has blown the episode's budget on him. Ono Daisuke makes an awesome Jack even though he had only a few lines here. And how can I forget his other roles such as Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji, Akira from Monochrome Factor? In fact he should get a character song or sing one of the OP / ED. After all he did it for Monochrome Factor (:

Cheshire Cat doesn't look bad even though I mentioned Jack looked the best. In fact, Gilbert and Oz looked more messed up then usual though. Cheshire and Jack are the definitely the stars of this episode. Especially when Cheshire looks like a neko L.

Anyway, Yamguchi Kappei does both L and Cheshire justice. Especially when Cheshire was like: Usotsuki, usotsuki, usotsuki! which means Liar, liar, liar! *is not too sure about the Japanese* he was awesome. More awesome then Fukuyama Jun aka Vincent aka Lelouch.

Tomorrow's the start of term 3. I really don't know whether I should be happy, but one thing's true: I'm bored of the holidays. So I suppose I'm looking forward for tomorrow, and I miss everyone...

DNAngel: The first shoujo manga I read since Cardcaptor Sakura and there was a gap of 4 years, mind you. I loved it due to my fetish for wings due to the Maximum Ride novels and also due to the romance too. ~~And the fact that there are two winged bishounen who look damn good in anything especially when crossdressing.~~ On that, I'm currently drawing Dark and Krad as Alice and Will of the Abyss from Pandora Hearts because the 'black and white theme' fits. Currently I'm still frustrated with Sugisaki-sensei's hiatus. I hope she comes back before other shoujo series that I'm reading (examples are Monochrome Factor and Shugo Chara) finish.

Krad: The most misunderstood character of DNAngel. Mostly because of the stupid anime which ruined him. Most people don't like him because he fights with Dark and tortures Satoshi. But remember that people are born good, so there must be a reason Krad became evil. To sum it in one sentence, he needs more love. Look at Dark, despite his state as a curse and everything, the Niwas treat him well, are concerned about him. In return, Dark also helps his tamer whenever possible, despite having an attitude problem. However, the Hikaris shun Krad, treat him like a parasitic presence and a curse. Because of this, Krad is lonely. And when even the only other presence similar to him aka Dark hates him, he is really pitiful. After all in volume 9, Krad says that he envies Daisuke. Until then, he needs more panels. D<

FMA: I read it after D.Gray-man because I heard that it's similar to DGM. My favourite character's Edward Elric, and I support Edward x Winry all the way. Even thought I might like BL couples of other series, but I can never stand those couples of FMA. Roy's too old for Edward, and Envy's technically Edward's half brother in the anime. Currently the story's in the climax, and I'd really love to see the climax end nicely. Especially I want Alphonse to get his body back, and a Edward x Winry last page.~~And a Harry Potter-ish epilouge. just joking.~~ Still didn't like the way Envy commited suicide but oh well... FMA ftw and Edward should get a happy ending because he deserves it like totally.

Chinese language: It's my second language (because I'm Chinese) and quite troublesome compared to English. So many strokes, but I suppose that's the beauty of it. But recently I've been thankful that I can read and understand it due to the unavailability of Japanese manga raws and availibility of very HD Chinese scanlations on the internet for series like Ouran High Host Club (chapter 72's coming soon), Monochrome Factor (Just read 41), Kingdom Hearts II (I feel sorry for Axel in chapter 37), Pandora Hearts (Even if Gil is called as 小基 which sounds just like 小鸡 which means chick as in the baby chicken and I crack up because of this) Although it's in traditional Chinese which is much more complicated than the simplified Chinese I'm used to, at least I can understand it and I'm happy. Still a pain to read it still...and I'm dying for the next Ouran High chapter 8D

manga: I read it because of the kawaii-ness aka big-eyed-ness of it. And also because it has epic plots and characters. First seires was Cardcaptor Sakura, first series that I was reallt obsessed with was Death Note. Because of this, I also learnt some mediocre Japanese enough to read some raws although mostly I still look at the kanji which are the Chinese looking characters and cheat in the process. Currently I'm still more biased towards shounen manga because I can't stand shoujo manga unless it has an excellent plot that involves action and fighting like Shugo Chara, DNAngel and Monochrome Factor due to too much fluff. One exception is Ouran High. But that's because of Tamaki and Haruhi. Now I'm most obsessed with Pandora Hearts because of the Alice in Wonderland theme, gothic Victorian-ness, cute protagonist and his erm...ancestor. Chapter 38 was epic win especially Gilbert's past. Damnit, I'm starting to ship Jack x Gilbert and Jack x Vincent... But who is that mysterious woman on the last page? (O_o)

Definitely Fujioka Haruhi from Ouran High Host Club. Like her, I'm tomboyish, mistaken for a boy if I don't state my gender, had hair cut once due to chewing gum in hair, have wonderful friends ~~who can be idiotic in a good way~~, gives blank looks often and wears glasses.

Speaking of this, Ouran High Host CLub chapter 71 is win.There's a TamaHaru moment with a sleeping Tamaki (with an upset Hikaru watching them which even a TamaHaru fan like me can sympathise with) and Mori and Honey are going to graduate. That's all I'm saying because there are major spoilers.

on rl, the school holidays might be extended due to the H1N1. Quite sad since I'm bored of the holidays already and e-learning means even more homework. D<

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days + Pandora Hearts ramble

On Xion, like duh since everyone first thought she's just some Mary Sue, I feel damn sad for her.

According to gamefaqs, Xion is a puppet crafted out of Sora's leaked memories, and gradually she will take on parts of Sora's face until, in the end, she appears exactly as Sora. She only appears as Kairi because she is a fragment of Sora's memory. She looks like Kairi because Sora has a strong memory of her. just as Roxas joined together with Sora, Xion joins with Roxas prior to his fight with Riku, which explains why he can dual wield with the keyblades. once Xion discovers that she is nothing but a puppet, she literally goes insane and roxas ends up putting her out of her misery by absorbing her. Xion needed to absorb Roxas to be complete, but Roxas, to her misfortune, doesn't let that happen.

Xemnas' plan was to have Xion become Sora, and then absorb Roxas. that way, the real Sora would be stuck in his pod forever, and the Organization would still have their very own keyblade wielder.

I HATE YOU XEMNAS. and this explains Xion's very blue eyes.

And obviously Xion ~~dies~~ is absorbed by Roxas. She fades by becoming ice crystals and eventually turning into an ice statue that shatters in roxas's arms. *cries*

Xion's already insane at this point of time, even before when she discovers the truth. She stares at the clock tower when fading and her last words to Roxas are : "It was nice meeting you...no. It was nice...meeting you and Axel. We three...we're...best friends."

Roxas: "No, you can't go. The three of us still have to go eat ice cream together!"

She still dies, and leaves a pink and yellow seashell for Roxas, who is crying for her.

Even if I'm not that much a Xion fan, how can one not feel sad for her?! Although she wanted to absorb Roxas so that Sora ceases to stop existing. in short. Sora + Roxas + Xion = same person

It's just plain ironic that Roxas has to face the same thing that his late best friend did but much later, and combing into the person that Xion was supposed to become. Sora is one lucky guy. D<

On Axel...Saix apparently calls him Lea. Obviously that's his real name and sounds like a princess from Star Wars. I was expecting a manlier name like Lae, but oh well.

Talking about Kingdom Hearts, Pandora Hearts has quite a number of similarities to KH besides the 'Hearts' in the title. I wonder if Mochizuki-sensei plays it?

In chapter 37 of Pandora Hearts, the title of the pocket watch melody was revealed and written in English on the grave as 'Lacie'.

And Lacie so happens to be an anagram of Alice. weird, no? I'm thinking that Lacie's most likely the Will of the Abyss's real name and she used to be human before being sacrificed to the Abyss, although some think it's Alice + Will of Abyss's mother or Alice + Will of Abyss combined.

If Alice or Lacie had a Nobody, it'll be something like Xaciel. LOL.

Because I'm so lame, here's my list of KH and PH similarities
1. Plot-wise :
-PH: Oz, after being dragged into the Abyss, meets Alice and goes on a journey to recover her lost memories.
KH:Sora is also kind of searching for Kairi's heart or sth like that after Destiny Islands is attacked.
-PH:Gil betrays Oz by being adopted into the Nightray family (+ stabbing him) and hides himself under the name of 'Raven' when Oz comes back from the Abyss but eventually they reconcile. Oz forgives Gil and still considers him as a friend.
KH: Riku goes to the side of the Heartless at first, later on he hides himself in the Organization cloak due to tapping on Xehanort's heartless in him. In KH II, Sora reconciles with him and forgives him.
-PH: Mysterious and evil organization makes Oz's life difficult aka Baskervilles
KH: Organization XIII. nuff said.

-PH: Oz the teenaged main character, is damn optimistic and determined to save Alice. He has a butler / best friend called Gilbert who is quite trapped in between the good and bad side.

-PH: Gilbert is the best friend of the Oz. He stabbed Oz while possessed, and in the 10 years Oz was gone, was adopted in the Nightray family which is kind of the Vessalius family's enemy (?) He hides himself in the alias 'Raven' and refuses to reveal himself to Oz when he comes back from the Abyss.
KH: Riku is the best friend of Sora. He went to Maleficent's side and totally betrays Sora. Later on he hides behind the Organization cloak because he feels that he cannot face Sora in KH II

Kuroshitsuji Chapter 33 review + RL

Kuroshitsuji Chapter 33 was win. Even though it was not Sebastian-centric (btw he's my 2nd fave char after Grell. Where have you gone to?!), I enjoyed it. Finally the servants of the Phantomhive mansion are not as useless as I thought they were. At the end of chapter 32, Fin was already amazing by giving the 'You're so gonna regret it' evil face even when attacked. And he looks more like a demon than Sebastian, who is actually one.

Maylene is the best. She absolutely kicks ass without her glasses (which does no good for her eyesight) and is an excellent sniper who uses rifles like handguns. But I don't understand why she wears such long lacy black stockings considering her maid dress is the long Victorian kind, not the modern damn short Gothic Lolita kind. Whatever, she's cool like that.

Bard shows his expertise in explosives. Which shows how he's the bomb. No wonder the people from the circus are all damn scared out of their pants.

I hope this arc finishes soon, it has been too long. And obviously Grell has to come back. He's like the gayest character ever and deadlier than Sebastian.

Suddenly I have this image of DNAngel characters dressing up as those of Kuroshitsuji in my head too. Since Sebastian has a long fringe and has short hair, so Dark can dress up as him. (Fine, I know that Argentine's the butler, but Dark would look awesome in Sebastian's butler suit). And Krad has long hair while being as psycho as Grell, so he can make a really creepy Grell.

Then if he acts the Grell part by acting really gay and blowing kisses at Dark, I can see Dark getting really freaked out while attacking Krad in return. *shall draw this during Halloween*

On an unrelated note, I did a Facebook quiz called 'What angel is watching over you + anime pics'. I got Gabriel, and the most ironic thing was that the picture used was Krad with his hair down in a red robe. The creator of that quiz has obviously not read DNAngel. Because Kraddie here despite being blonde and white-winged, is a homicidal and psycho angel (technically an artwork here) who is not angelic at all save for his appearance. I just LOLed at that...

Holidays in a weeks time, and homework is already piling. Plus I have to start practicing for my end of year Music practical which requires 2 pieces that is at least 10 minutes in total. Can already foresee that they holiday is not going to be much of one.

Haven't done any Writer's Block in a long time, so yeah.

Anyway I don't believe in fate. Because it's damn obvious that we do have to put in effort to get what we want / need. If fate was true, then we don't need to even go to school or do anything at all as everything will just happen on its own.

However I believe in fate to a certain extent. Like we're all meant to die someday, some people are unluckier than others and get diseases they don't even ask for (but that's more of genetics).

The userpic that I used here of Dark and Daisuke has a reason too. It's fate that the Niwa ancestor had to interrupt the Hikari's ritual of creating the Black Wings which caused the life force to split into two, creating Dark and Krad in the process. Without any other choice, they had to latch themselves on the only vessels available, which is the sinned artist and the kaitou. And it's also fate that Hikari and Niwa had to cursed by Hikari's artwork...

Speaking of that, DNAngel is still on hiatus. Grr.

On RL, exams are over, I'm currently packing for OBS next week and watching a lot of Vocaloid videos. I especially love Kaito as he has such a sexy voice and it's quite hard to believe that they are computer programs. The 'Kokoto Kiseki' video even made me cry...
